He is an important figure in modern Vietnamese music.

We’re listening to a song which was composed by a Vietnamese musician.
He is a Vietnamese musician who was born on February 28, 1939 in Buon Ma Thuot, Dak Lak Province. But he grew up in Hue, where he attended the Lycée Français and the Providence school. It’s Trinh Cong Son.
Trinh Cong Son wrote over 500 songs during the 1960s and 1970s. Many of Trinh`s songs are love songs. Others are anti-war songs, written during and about the Vietnam War.
His songs are very well- known with many Vietnamese generations in the past and in the present.
Some of them are Mot coi di ve, Ha trang, Huyen thoai me, Noi vong tay lon, De gio cuon di, Diem xua,... And so on.
Khanh Ly and Hong Nhung are singers who perform Trinh’ s music successfully.
Trinh Cong Son is one of the important musician, composer of Vietnam.
Before his death, he has left many wonderful songs which are loved by many Vietnamese generations now.
We hope Trinh’s music will more and more popular in Vietnam and throughout the world.
